After the destruction of the original temple in the unfortunate 2001 Gujarat earthquake, a magnificent new temple was built entirely in white and gold. One of the biggest and most expensive temple’s in Gujarat, this temple is known for pillars and domes of carvings that show mythological Hindu stories. It took 7 years to build this temple which is constructed using traditional Vedic architectural methods, in pure white marble from Makrana and Ambaji.

Even though the old temple structure was destroyed, the idols survived and are installed in the new temple. The temple complex is spread across 5 acres of land. The structure has 7 shikharas with a main dome, 25 smaller domes and 258 carved pillars made of pure marble. The temple also has idols of Radha Krishna, Ganesha, Hanuman and other divinities.
