Situated in the Finger Lake region of New York State is the Watkins Glen State Park. A beautiful gorge trail runs through the park which has been formed by the Glen Creek slowly eroding the layered cliffs and its channel since the end of the last ice age. There are 19 waterfalls along the trail and what fascinated me the most was the feeling of waking behind them. The pale green ponds with layered rocks enclosing them was a dreamy sight and nothing like I have ever seen before.
